Last night, Harris County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council hosted an “Evening of Remembrance, Caring, and Hope” candlelight vigil, 
featuringmultiple organizations, including Bay Area Turning Point. Our Outreach, Education, and Prevention Director was asked to assist in reading the names of 26 Harris County residents who lost their lives in 2024. In attendance were the families of those lost, advocates, the DA’s office, the OAG, community members, and others. Harris County District Attorney’s Office‘s proactive approach to reducing and eventually ending domestic violence-related homicides in Harris County.
