Financial donations provide us with the best way to match and meet the ongoing – and often changing – needs of our clients.

BATP operates a Donation Center created to process and accept donations that are needed for the clients we serve. Through your generous donation clients shop for clothing and household items, free of charge. Items needed include new and gently used:
Household items needed (only small items accepted):
- Pots and pans
- Storage containers
- Measuring cups/spoons
Furniture – Please call 281-338-7600 to inquire about the need for furniture. We will take your information, connect with the Housing Manager, and return your call regarding the need for the specific items. **Please note, we do not have the capacity to pick up items.**
Items we do not accept include: used safety seats for children, used cribs, used pillows, electronics, construction materials, appliances, and used beauty and hygiene products.
Bag It, Tag it, Recycle It! (sub-tab under Donation Center)- BATP is excited to offer our “Bag It, Tag It, Recycle It!” program. When you donate old unusable clothing, shoes, purses, hats and belts, we are able to recycle them to generate income. The proceeds go directly to support agency services! We ask that you place the items in a black trash bag and tag it “Recycle”. Please bag clothing, shoes, purses, hats, and belts separately. Drop off at the donation center during regular business hours Monday – Thursday 8:30 to 5:30 and Friday 8:30 to 3:00. We are closed on Saturday and Sunday. Pull to the back and ring the bell for assistance.
- No dumping after hours or on weekends. The weather, rodents and insects render the donation unusable when left unattended.
- We are not able to accept sweaters, jackets or pillows in the recycling program.
